The Kings/Tulare high-speed rail station will be located near the intersection of State Route (SR) 198 and SR 43 just east of the Hanford city limits and about 20 miles west of the City of Visalia. The station will be a regional hub serving Kings and Tulare counties and will provide connections to neighboring communities.

The California High-Speed Rail Authority (Authority) is working with regional and local partners to discuss a vision for the Kings/Tulare Station, including convenient transit, bicycle, and pedestrian connections between the station and surrounding communities. Key regional connections include transit service between Visalia and other communities in Kings and Tulare counties. The long-term vision includes Cross Valley Corridor rail service within the San Joaquin Valley railroad right-of-way to connect communities along the corridor to high-speed rail service with an at-grade station perpendicular to the Kings/Tulare Station.

The Kings/Tulare Station will be on a viaduct that is currently under construction.
