NEWS RELEASE: Authority Board of Directors Selects New Chief Executive Officer to Lead Organization to Passenger Service
SACRAMENTO, Calif. – The California High-Speed Rail Authority’s Board of Directors has appointed Ian Choudri as the next Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for the program. The announcement was made today after the Board met in closed session in Sacramento. Choudri currently works as Senior Vice President for HNTB corporation and brings more than 30 years’ experience in the transportation sector, including working on high-speed rail projects in France and Spain.

NEWS RELEASE: Renewed Federal Partnership Helps Expedite Environmental Reviews for Rail Projects
SACRAMENTO, Calif. – Today, the California State Transportation Agency and the California High-Speed Rail Authority (Authority) renewed an agreement with the Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) to continue assuming the FRA’s federal environmental review responsibilities under the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA).

Join California High-Speed Rail for “The State of the Future”
SACRAMENTO, Calif. –Beat the heat this weekend, and join the California High-Speed Rail Authority for the grand opening of the first-ever full-scale project exhibit at the California State Fair. The State of the Future will take visitors through the history of the project – from construction into operations of the nation’s first 220 mph electrified high-speed train system.
