PROGRAM UPDATE
- Cross Creek Viaduct and Wildlife Crossings (CP 2-3)
- Change Order: 405
- Justification: The arbitration process between the Authority and DFJV pertaining to the construction of the Cross Creek Viaduct and wildlife crossings has concluded. The approval of this change order was necessary to satisfy the arbitration ruling.
- Scope of Work: Increase in contract amount and no change to scope.
- Cost: $143,126,822
CRISI GRANT APPLICATION
- Consolidated Rail Infrastructure and Safety Improvements (CRISI)
- CRISI Program Eligibility and Purpose:
- Invest in roads, rail, transit and port projects to achieve national objectives.
- Application Overview:
- Advance the Merced Extension element of the Inaugural High-Speed Service from Merced to Bakersfield with an 8-Mile Construction Extension that includes utilities, civil, track and systems, and related Project Construction.
- Workforce training programs in the Central Valley that includes continud funding for existing pre-apprenticeship training programs and expand to new programs to further support construction of the project.
- Additional Information:
- Grant request for $450M
