- We’ve created more than 8,300 construction jobs in the Central Valley, with a focus on disadvantaged communities. More than 5,400 of these jobs went to workers from disadvantaged areas.
- The number of small businesses involved has grown by 166 percent since 2015, including a 151 percent increase in Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs).
- 812 certified small businesses are currently engaged in the project.
- Sustainability is a priority. Our Sustainable Procurement Policy, finalized in June 2023, aligns procurement with environmental, social, and governance goals.
- We’ve exceeded goals for hiring disadvantaged community workers, with 65 percent of construction labor jobs filled by targeted workers.
